I’m one of the founders of Certeon, with more than 25 years of experience in the school of startup hard knocks. I’m interested in digital rights, lossy and lossless compression, data security and the noosphere. I hold a patent in mpeg audio and video compression over IP networks and was a member of the IETF MPEG 4 Systems committee. Prior to Certeon, I founded software copyright protection and digital media companies and was a senior consulting engineer at EMC.
